BS3 Jammin’ is a weekend event for the local community to donate their surplus homegrown foods, for us to all cook, press and preserve it, in order to reduce food waste and support our local food bank.

Volunteer chefs (which have included Mark Chapman from local Michelin starred restaurant, Cor, Masterchef contestant Woei Lee and Bristol City College’s Bill Bennet Clark) cook all weekend as members of the public help with food prep and learn from the chefs. Other activities include apple pressing, a cooking competition (where the only rule is to use something from the harvest), an educational compost stall, a Sirona Care and Health advice table, as well as arts and crafts.

BS3 Daddin’ is a monthly Saturday morning children’s (0-5) playgroup in Bristol. Dads can meet up with other dads to hang out, make new friends, and have fun with their kids. We provide breakfast, interactive performances, craft activities, books, games and toys in indoor and outdoor environments.

If you’re a new Dad (or know one) sign up to our mailing list on the home page to find out when the next one is happening!
